“(Re)Collection”

(Re)Collection is a proof-of-concept for an animated docuseries that follows several families as they care for loved ones diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Their stories are told through a collection of their loved ones’ most prized possessions – imagine a digital museum where each object is associated with an animated anecdote. 

Each episode will be animated in a completely different style, by a completely different animator.

Our inagural episode - entitled “Mom’s Wardrobe” - has been animated by Cassie Shao, who has been credited on Oscar-Nominated shorts (2022’s My Year of Dicks), and whose work has been featured on TED’s YouTube channel and in several prominent film festivals around the world, including SXSW. 

This initiative is supported by several organizations, among them Seth & Lauren Miller Rogen’s Hilarity for Charity and USC’s Bridge Art + Science Alliance.
